Outlaw Rods are built from WAFT Micro-Tech Armored Carbon Fiber, a material that is essential to producing the lightest, strongest, most sensitive and balanced blank available. WEIGHT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM Derived from Waft's surf rod technology, this results in the rods action changing when using different lure weights causing different parts of the blank to work to suite a required purpose. This feature enables you to flick accurate casts on low trajectories to get under trees and docks with far more ease.

We were initially introduced to Waft at ICAST 2014 where we were very impressed by the innovative designs, high quality components and unique engineering their products offered. WAFT strives, through progressive innovative strategies, to continually evolve and research further technological advancements to ensure the finest products available to the consumer. The Outlaw Series is a technique specific line of bass fishing rods comprised of 10 casting rods covering a vast array of popular applications and techniques. Outlaw Rods are built from WAFT Micro-Tech Armored Carbon Fiber, a material that is essential to producing the lightest, strongest, most sensitive and balanced blank available. To make the Outlaw rods even lighter and more responsive, Waft selected Titanium Semi-Micro guides. These guides, made of titanium frames, do not use conventional ceramic inserts that crack or chip but instead use Waft's proprietary light weight low friction LRZ insert. This feature enables you to flick accurate casts on low trajectories to get under trees and docks with far more ease. Another feature of the Outlaw series of rods is the OPTIC-SENSE bite detection technology which involves the use of micro strands in the blank construction to convey even the slightest vibration transmitted to the rod.
